United Way of Northeast Louisiana is focused on four key areas: Education, Financial Stability, and Health, as well as Basic and Emergency Needs—the building blocks for a good quality of life.

In the area of Basic + Emergency Needs, we are working to ensure people in Northeast Louisiana have access to food, shelter, medicine, transportation, and disaster relief.

United Way of Northeast Louisiana 2‑1‑1 your CONVENIENT COMMUNITY CONNECTION and is available on any landline or mobile phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In 2015, Northeast Louisiana people accessed 2‑1‑1 by phone 19,499 times to help find community, health, and disaster support services, with the top community needs being:
